About the Event
Mental health includes our emotional, psycholgical, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It determines how we handle difficult situation, how we manage our relationships, and determines how we make healthy and unhelathy life choices. Mental health is important at every step of our lives from childhood to adolescence through to adulthood. Finding a community that can help support you through your journey can make all the difference you need.
On this day we aim to provide a reminder to our community about the importance of mental health by raising awareness of the different signs and symptoms to look out for that will help develop a greater understanding of mental illness, and provide key steps to take towards mental wellbeing.
We will host mental health workshops, seminars, provide textbooks and other resources to help guide you, a friend or a loved one through the journey of recovery.
